A Magical Weekend

Here are some of our pictures from the disney trip with the Haidles. It was SUCH a good time! It's already so sad to have the house be so quiet now that they are gone...We had great times getting to know the kiddo's better and had some really special times with Sam and Kelli after the kids went to bed. It was a trip to remember -- full of memories and lots of laughter. Mom and Alison we REALLY missed you...I hope next year we can make it the whole family!

We did Magic Kingdom on Saturday...Dave and I got there a little late due to a late night/rough morning on Friday with Jeremy...but we still were there for 11 hours! WOW! The kids were such troopers too...Lots of fun on rides...and Grace even went on Thunder Mountain TWICE and LOVED IT! The second time around she saw Dave and I holding our hands up in the air through the ride, so she did too...it was really funny! After 4000 calories of junk food and hours of walking, we all called it a night around midnight. wow. that's a lot of Mickey in one day.

Thankfully, Saturday we just hung out at the pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Really fun hotel by the way...lots to look at and done up very well. The pool was so relaxing, and the pina coLava's were delicious! Zack did his first big slides on the slide pool...that was a sight to see. Dave would take Zack up to the slide, and Sam would be at the end to catch him...he pretty much came down like a sack of potatoes in a floaty...ya never knew which body part would be coming down first. but he always said, "again!!". fun times. For dinner we went to Planet Hollywood and had some, surprisingly, very good food and lots of laughs.

Monday was Animal Kingdom. My new favorite park of WDW. It is done SO well and there's the perfect amount of activities. and the new Mt. Everest ride which is totally scary and has some serious dips...GRACE RODE!!! She LOVED it!! It was so fun to experience those "firsts" with her. :)
