The surgery is scheduled for Monday, January 19. Not sure of the time. I happen to have that day off, so hopefully she is done early and I can bring her home earlier as well. We were hoping for a Friday surgery so we could spend the weekend with her...but alas, we don't have that good of luck!
We're super nervous, anxious, and afraid that this won't cure her infection, but we're trying to stay hopeful! It will be a harder recovery for her because they will be cutting out some of her muscle, where as last time it was all above her muscle's. And we're praying for no drainage tube this time, as that could have helped caused this awful infection.
We are SO ready for this to be done and Poe back to her healthy and fun self!
